 November 20 is International Child Rights Day


 ◆Every year on November 20, Children's Rights Day is celebrated in India to reconsider the real human rights for every child.  A national meeting is organized on November 30 by the National Commission for the Protection of Child Rights to make people aware of their children's rights.  November 20 is World Children's Day.

◆ What is child rights?
 ● The proclamation of child rights in 1918 was accepted on November 30, 2009.

 ●The Government of India established a National Commission for the Protection of the Rights of the Child in March 2009 to emphasize the importance of child care and protection in India.

 ● Many programs are organized by government organizations, various castes, NGOs etc. to make people aware about child rights.

 ● A drawing competition is organized in the school on the day of child rights. In addition, people from different groups
 Poetry, songs, dances etc. related to child rights are organized by the students to bring awareness about child rights.  Child Rights Day is organized every year in India to ensure the rights and dignity of children.  Let us all join this campaign and make everyone aware of the rights of children.
