●National Press Day By Press Council of India (PCI) 16th November National Press Day November 14 is celebrated as National Press Day.  PCI is a statutory autonomous body.  The Press Council of India was established on July 17 with the objective of upholding the freedom and protection of the press in India as well as upholding the high ideals of journalism.  Jenny The establishment has come through a parliamentary act to maintain independence as well as its highest standards.

●  Indian tennis star Sania Mirza was born on November 19, 19 in Mumbai.  Sania Mirza started playing tennis at the Nizam Club in Hyderabad at the young age of 7 under the guidance of her well-known father Imran Mirza.  CG Krishna, the father of Mahesh Bhupathi, a well-known tennis player, has also made a good contribution to his tennis career.  Going forward, he received in-depth training in tennis from the Senate Academy in Secunderabad and the S Tennis Academy in the United States.  

◆Sania Mirza can be called the driving force behind the popularity of tennis in India.  Sania Mirza made history by reaching the third round of the women's singles spur at the 2009 Australian Open, the first Grand Slam tournament of tennis.  She became the first Indian woman to reach the third round of a Grand Slam tournament.  On February 17, 2009, Sania joined the WTA in Hyderabad.  Winning the championship added another dimension to her career. At the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, Sania won a silver medal in the women's singles and a gold medal in the mixed doubles with Leander Paes.  In addition, for 20 consecutive weeks, she was becoming the world's No. 1 women's doubles player.
